Martin Bouygues and his brother have chosen to continue the fabulous saga of this exceptional estate and to take the extraordinary destiny of Château Montrose a great terroir yet further

Since its acquisition by the two Bouygues brothers, Montrose has not rested on its laurels. Under the wise management of Hervé Berland, a real in-depth work has been carried out in the vineyard, which has now been increased to 95 hectares by the addition of a beautiful plot in the adjacent Fonpetite area. Historically, it was part of the cru’s vineyard in 1855, at the time of its classification. This work goes beyond the usual and sometimes restrictive or irrational notions of organic or biodynamic standards, controlled by bodies that are all too often conservative, to think more globally about the notion of sustainable development and the ecological protection of agricultural and human heritage:
