Domaine. [to know more about the wines highlighted in blue, click and watch a short reel]
Established in Urville, in the heart of the Côte des Bar since 1808, the Drappier family, headed by Michel and his children, owns 55 hectares of vines and 50 hectares under contract. The wines produced for the most part on soils from the Kimmeridgian Jurassic, showcase the classic Champagne grape varieties. If Pinot Noir is king, we also find Petit Meslier, Blanc Vrai and Arbane. Attached to respecting his environment and the identity of the grape varieties, Michel Drappier composes meticulous, precise and sincere blends. A pioneer in the production of natural bruts using healthy viticulture, he carefully elaborates his dosage liqueur for the other cuvées.
