In 2014, Marie and Benoît Lombrière decided to take over 5.5 hectares of the former estate of Marie’s parents, Marcel and Maryse Georges, in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The 4.5 hectares of Grenache are located in the Bois de la Vieille area and have been in organic conversion since 2017. Note the presence of Pierre-Jean Villa (Côte Rôtie), who accompanies the couple from the vineyard to the cellar. The cuvée Marie in 2016 is in a delicate and fine style that we defend in the appellation.
