Maison Dourthe
Domaine [to know more about the wines highlighted in blue, click and watch a short reel]
Through its flagship cuvées, which carry the colours of the Bordeaux region, or the châteaux it brings to the top of their appellation, Dourthe is a house with a sure signature. Its flagship cuvée, available in three colours, is Dourthe No. 1, the archetypal good Bordeaux. It owns several important properties, such as Pey La Tour in Entre-deux-mers, La Garde in Pessac-Leognan, and the cru classé Belgrave in Haut-Médoc. Taken over by Alain Thiénot from Champagne, it has not changed its philosophy of action. The Bordeaux vineyard needs a signature as recommendable as this one.
