Wine was part of a family atavism, and Bordeaux in particular, that his father James Seely, merchant, journalist and even restaurateur, described as an expert in the classic Bordeaux Great Wines published in the 1980s.
As a young boy, Christian accompanied his father to the region, discovering and tasting all the great Médoc wines.
