” The Rare style is linked to the history of the vintage. The first editions were made in rather difficult years. First 1976, the year of the drought. Then 1979, with late harvests from October 6th to the eve of All Saints’ Day. Finally, in 1985, the region suffered black frosts and recorded temperatures as low as minus 35°C in the coldest areas. This trend of complicated vintages was really reversed from 2002 onwards.
