A revolutionary collection where function dictates form- the Sommeliers Series, first introduced in 1973, was the perfect exemplification of Claus J. Riedel’s pioneering grape varietal specific stemware innovation. Claus Riedel is best known for creating grape variety-specific glassware designed to enhance types of wine based on specific properties of individual grape varieties.

50 years later, they celebrate the anniversary of this iconic glass. Thanks to worldwide demand, Sommeliers is now the wineglass benchmark and the most successful series of hand-made glasses in the world.
